FAQs
How much does therapy cost?
My current rates vary depending on individual or couples work. Feel free to email me directly, and I’ll be happy to share more information.
Do you offer a sliding scale?
Yes, I have a limited number of sliding scale spots available. If cost is a barrier, let me know—we can talk about what might work.
Where do you see clients?
I offer virtual sessions, and I also see clients in person at my office in San Francisco’s Castro District, located at 4255 18th Street (at the corner of 18th and Diamond). Please note that the space is up one flight of stairs and is not wheelchair accessible.
How often are sessions?
I generally meet with clients once a week, as that rhythm tends to support deeper, more consistent work. We can revisit frequency depending on your needs and goals.
Do you take insurance?
I don’t bill insurance directly, but I can provide a superbill for out-of-network reimbursement. I use Ivy Pay, a secure payment system for therapists, and I accept FSA, HSA, and all major credit cards.
Do you offer consultation calls?
Yes. I offer a free 10-minute consultation so we can get a feel for each other and see if it feels like a good fit. You're welcome to bring any questions, concerns, or curiosities—this is a space to explore whether working together makes sense for you.
What’s your cancellation policy?
I ask for at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a session. Sessions canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice are charged in full.
I’ve never been to therapy before, what is it like?
Beginning therapy is a huge step, but don’t worry—there's no one "right" way to do therapy. Often, what I offer is a space to slow down, get curious, and bring more awareness to the patterns shaping your inner and relational life. Whether you’re coming in as an individual or a couple, my approach is collaborative, relational, and attuned to your pace.
